David's Story

Greetings,
It's been great to hear from old friends via Classmates. I get a kick out of reading what old friends and classmates are up to these days on this website so here is my condensed bioÂ
:
After graduating from Orangewood Academy in 79, I began the long and winding pursuit of music as a full-time career. I went to college on and off Âeven as far away as the Sorbonne in France but would always seem to drift away from school and join some band (much to my parents chagrin). I came back from Europe to Orange County and married the girl I am still married to this day (Laura) who I had met during my senior year in high school. We had our first son in 1984 and I signed my first record deal in 1985 with a band called Guardian  playing bass under the name of David Bach. and myspace if you want to check out what we sounded like) I played with this band in various incarnations (and hairstyles!) from Â82 to Â97. We made many records (though no real big hits) and toured the world many times over. I retired from the rock & roll road life when my 4th child was born (we have 4 boys--ages 9 to 23) and went to work for various record companies in Nashville, which is where I currently reside. My most recent work is in internet development. I am part of the development team for a music-based virtual world for kids called Franktown Rocks.
