I currently work at the CDC as a medical epidemiologist in bacterial zoonoses; my work is incredibly interesting, challenging in a positive way, and provides opportunity for some incredible travel experiences...! It is so nice to have a career again that includes overseas travel and work after departing the Air Force in 1998. Between my time in the AirForce, my work here, and my favorite hobby, hashing (Hash House Harriers), I have managed to visit six continents and more than 30 countries so far...
I have wonderful parents whom I am blessed are alive and healthy and in their early 80's; I don't get home nearly often enough to Colorado to visit, though that is improving from past years now that work allows it.".
