David's Story
Well it's been a while since I've posted on here so where to begin...
My father passed away March 20th 2008 after suffering many health issues. We miss him with all of our hearts but I'm at peace knowing he's finally not suffering anymore.
We still live on the water here in St. Petersburg Fl and we added an addition to the house over the summer.
My wife Catherine and I FINALLY adopted our three beautiful children on 9/11/08 after two plus years of being foster parents. David, Elizabeth, and William (aka Billy) were placed with us on 7/6/06 at ages 23 mos, 8 mos, and 6 mos and we couldn't be happier. It's been an amazing journey and a blessing.
Work is crazy busy, the kids are driving me nuts but that's their job so I'm OK...Expand for more
with it.
We're still taking the motorhome on various trips around the state. I became a certified SCUBA diver and get out when time permits. I've golfed only a few times since rupturing two disks in my back on the 3rd hole at Cypress Links right around the corner from the house so the sport I grew to love when I moved down here has been put on the back burner.
I still enjoy going to the Ray's games (10 minutes from the house) and fishing off my dock. We're shopping around for a boat but need to put in a boat lift so we don't have the hassle of trailering it to the boat ramp.
I hope everyone is doing well and in good health. I'll be the big 40 in a month!
