David's Story
Not sure if anyone remembers me, I think I was a quiet, shy type of kid? It's been a long time. Well, coming up on age 50, how time does fly by. I have been married for 25 years now, have one stepson and one granddaughter, 11. I still live in the St Louis area, actually live in the East Side in Illinois. My Mom lives in Chesterfield and I help her with her bookkeeping at her boutique shop. I work as an automotive mechanic, specialized in rebuilding transmissions. 11/18/2010 Updated: Moved a little over a year ago, to Central Illinois. Over-the-hill, almost 51, lol. Been off work for 5 months due to auto wreck and neck surgery following. Going back to work next week full-time at my job in South St Louis County, what a drive! Moved away from the crime of the big city, to a town of 300. What a great change of life. Probably retire here as well. Closer to my stepson and granddaughter. Two cats keep us company as well.
