David's Story
I went to UNC for 1 year, then my Dad got transferred to Mississippi, so I finished college & went to Medical school there. The Army paid for my medical school, so I spent 7 years as an army doc, doing tours of duty in California, Korea, Texas, & Alaska. I met my wife while stationed in San Antonio, she is from that area. ver there. I saw a lot of Europe while living over there, & a good bit of Asia while stationed in Korea. When we came back to the states, we settled on Amarillo as a place to live, as it's halfway between San Antonio & Greeley. I've had a successful practice here for the last 25 years, & we've raised 4 children. I'm involved with practicing medicine full time, & teaching medical students part time. I've had a rewarding & satisfying career & family life, which is all anyone could ask for!
