David's Story
Life
I got married in june of 99. Had three beautiful children, my oldest is now 8, my second is 4, and my youngest just terned 3. I am recently seperated living in Virginia pending divorce. I do not know how i want people to remember me. I have not really thought of that. Anyways, if anybody would like to chat to catch up on old times or whatever, i have big ears and i will listen. LOL Take care.
Military
I spent 3 great months after graduation at MCRD San Diego to become a marine. After that i was sent to Camp Pendleton CA for MCT ( marine combat training) then i went to Barstow CA where i learned how to be a wharehouseman. I then was sent to Okinawa Japan for a year, had fun. s Okinawa girl (but never got together). I came back to Cali at the beginning of 97 and was stationed at Camp Pendletion and stayed there until i met my wife and got out in 99. Then two weeks later i went in to the navy where i spent a month in Great Lakes Ill. for some navy training because i did not have to go to navy bootcamp.After that i was sent to Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio Texas where i learned to be a culinary specialist (at that time it was a mess management specialist). Then i came back to San Diego and was stationed on the mighty USS Bunkerhill (CG-52). After two westpacs and countless underways later i left the Bunkerhill and went to the NAB (Naval Amphib Base) in Coronado CA where i worked in the galley until i got out of the navy.
