David's Story
Life
I live and work in downtown Detroit, Michigan. I work for Olympia Entertainment / Detroit Red Wings. I am resident house organist for the 5,100-seat Fox Theatre in Detroit. I also work in other departments within the organization (Ticket Master, accounting, restoration, tours, etc.) I have also been the organist for the Detroit Red Wings NHL Hockey team. Nothing like getting 18,000 people to simultaneously clap along during a game!
As a theatre organist, I have performed concerts throughout the USA, Canada, and also several countries overseas.

ted in mechanical musical instruments, such as player pianos, nickelodeons, music boxes, band organs, monkey organs, and dance organs. Basically, if it is a musical instrument, and it plays mechanically somehow by itself, then we collect it. I am currently the vice-chairman of the Mid-America Chapter of MBSI.
My favorite sport is Ice Hockey, and my favorite team is the Detroit Red Wings. GO WINGS!
My career has not gone unnoticed by the alumni of my high school. I was inducted into the Achievement Hall of Fame at Champion High School in the fall of 2007. It's nice to see that the performing arts aren't forgotten about.
