Life Those who knew me in school would probably never have thought that I was the type of person to take orders. They were right, but I wanted to serve in the military just the same. It was rewarding in it's own way, and I completed 20 years of military service before retiring in 2003. Having spent that time traveling literally all over the world, I suppose moving around got in my blood. So I entered a line of work that still has me moving around constantly, as an over the road truck driver. I now travel the lower 48 states and Canada, and it seems that the north american continent is now my office. I couldn't be happier. Currently a contributing writer for Ricochet.com and Gateway Pundit. Along the way, I married a young lady from Panama City, Florida. The marriage didn't work out, but I gained two wonderful children as a result. Benjamin, my eldest, will soon be 25, and works as a quality assurance computer whiz-kid for bookit.com, the travel site. My daughter Christie is married to a very nice gentleman named Lee, which brings me to the star of the show, my grandson Daniel. He is one year old, and dangerously full of mischief. At least he came by it honestly. Along the way, I've held a variety of jobs. Everything from private detective to even spending a couple of years as a radio talk show host in North Carolina. It's been very interesting, but by far the most rewarding work I've done has been that which I did while wearing my country's uniform. To have been able to work with some of the most capable and sharp young professionals our nation has to offer was an honor beyond words.
