David's Story
After graduation, I attended Central Michigan University for a semester, after which I went into the Marines. I was deployed to the far east in support of Desert Shield/Storm, during which I saw Mt. Pinatubo erupt in the Philippine Islands. I returned in August '91, after which I worked as a parking valet in Detroit and went to school.

. We moved back to the Midwest, she to Chicago, and I back to Westland. I eventually moved to Chicago, where I finished my degree at Loyola University in Criminal Justice.
In 2001/2002, we moved to Phoenix, and I was hired as a police officer by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (State Police).
We have a son, daughter and a baby on the way, and I am currently a detective with our Special Investigations Unit.
