David's Story
Life
In Sep '91, I Entered Basic Training for the USAF. In Feb '92, I became a Security Policeman. In Mar '92, I was stationed at the 633rd Security Police Squadron, Andersen AB, Guam; where I was an installation entry controller and installation patrolman. In May '93, I was stationed at the 37th Security Police Squadron, Lackland AFB, TX; where I worked as an installation patrolman, corrections officer and unit computer systems administrator. In Aug '93, I got married to a woman I met in Guam. In May '94, I was assigned temporary duty in Dharahn, Saudi Arabia for 4 months in support of "Operation Southern Watch". In Sep '94, my daughter was born. In Dec '94, I re-Enlisted for 6 years. In Jun '97, I divorced my wife. In, May '98, I married an Air Force Weapons Instructor. demic Instructor School, and became an Air Force Instructor. In Nov '00, I re-enlisted for another 6 years. And in Dec '00, I was assigned temporary duty to Prince Sultan AB, Saudi Arabia for 3 months in support of "Operation Southern Watch". I stayed at FE Warren until March of 2003 when I was hired at the Ground Combat Training Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. I was in charge of the Communications Course, teaching AF Security Forces how to be RTOs. I finally decied it was time for a change and volunteered to do a year tour in Iraq. I did a year as a Military Advisor for the Iraqi Army at a Forward Operating Base in Northern Iraq. When I got home, my wife decided that our marraige was over, so now it's just me and the dog. I made MSgt this year on the supplemental and should sew on in March. In case you haven't guessed I am in the Air Force for the "long-haul" and plan to retire in 2011.
