David's Story
After graduation, I went on to the University of Memphis, earning a degree in music education, in 1990. After 2 years in the Memphis City Schools and graduate work at UM, I signed on with the Shelby County School System in 1993 as the Band Director at Bolton High School. rs, I retired from full time teaching in June, 2022. I am currently teaching part-time at The U. of Memphis, helping out several band programs in the area, teaching private lessons and leading our church orchestra.
