David's Story
I'm David and I am a chef.I started on this path many years ago working at Cavallos in New Hartford. I left Utica when I was 25 to get out on my own.I moved to Denver and lived and loved there for 11 years.I made some great friends and had many awsome experiences. I went to school,played in a couple bands,was a partner in an illeagle after hours club, and mostly had a blast.Most importantly I met my Heather,my wife of 5 years.We have been together for about 10 years but it took her a while to wear me down.Hahaha.Many of you who know me may remember me as a bit of a wild one and I still am,and she loves me for it.She is the yin to my yang.We lived in the suberbs of Chicago for 2 years but did not dig ...Expand for more
it , but we had to do it for Heathers job so we made the best of it but got out as soon as we could.Last year we moved down to Charlotte N.C. and we love it.I am sous chef at a little bistro called LULU that is owned by another Utica boy name of Marc Jacksina.We ccok and we rock,and we have alot of fun doin what we do.Heather and I have no kids but are still open to the idea.We like to catch live music,entertain friends on our big back sun porch and hang at the Penguin for great food and ice cold beer.In some ways I am still the same guy I was back in the day but I like to think I have matuered and learned some valuable lessons in my life,but I'm pretty sure that I've still got a long way to go.David
