David's Story

Life After high school joined the AF to escape the draft so I wouldn't have to go to Vietnam, went to Vietnam returned stateside and was stationed in Warner Robins Ga. Was discharged in 1969 married in July of 1969, still married with four adult children and nine grandchildren, Retired from Vought Aircraft in 2003 and currently work as a contractor for the US Gov. I have also pastored a small Assembly of God church for the last six years as well as holding down full time employment. tion by motor home at my leasure. Life has been a quick trip to this point as I look back to my youth which seems like yesterday, I guess all my former classmates can relate to that. School Biggest crush? Judy Longworth (class of 67) and Clara Bartran( class of 66 ) two very pretty girls though I knew Judy the best as we had classes together. I have only seen Clara since high school, at our thirity fifth reunion. Do not know what happened to Judy. Mrs. Ward english teacher was my best inspiration. Would I do it again? I would like to think so.
