David's Story
Life
Over the course of my 20 years in the Air Force, I've seen a good bit of the world. Experiencing other cultures and visiting famous/historical sites has taught me a lot in general.
I was stationed in Europe twice. While I was there I visited England, Scotland (and no, I did't get to see the Loch Ness monster), Wales, Ireland, France (mostly Paris), Disneyland/Europe, Spain, Gibraltar, Holland, and Germany. My work related travels have taken me to Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq. I've had short term stops in Greece and Italy. South Kore...Expand for more
a is full of culture and good people. I did stand on North Korean soil at the DMZ for a short moment. The North Koreans are always watching the tourists there, let alone the military guards; it's like the showdown at the OK corral without anyone making a move just yet-talk about intensity.
I'm looking at being a school teacher when I retire from the Air Force. I look forward to sharing my cultural/geographical experiences with friends,family, and school students.

I just finished a 135 day tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Sept. 2006.
