David's Story

Life I went to Wittenberg University and Trinity Lutheran Seminary and also got a Ph.D. from UVa in 1996 in Early Christianity and Judaism. Nancy and I got married in 1980 and we have two girls - Mary (born 1985) and Joanna (born 1987). I served Lutheran congregations in Yorktown and Roanoke and now I work in the Lutheran Bishop's office for Youth and Young Adult Ministries. Still love music - guitar and piano! hrough 10th grade. We moved to Leesburg in 1973, so I was only at LCHS for 2 years but had a great time in band, jazz band, chorus, and drama with some great people. Math was my best subject but I also really liked English, History, and Latin. Unfortunately, I never did any math for the rest of my life, but I did go on to seminary and grad school, so I ended up with a Ph.D. in Early Christianity and Judaism. Unfortunately I have no family left in Leesburg, so I hardly ever get back there.
