David's Story
Life
After high scholl I puttered around a bit. I got serious though and joined the active Army. Went into the Field Artillery (big cannons) and stayed there for 4 years. During that time I got married to a wonderful woman, also in the Army. I was medically discharged from the military and moved on to a short career in security. After that I decided to become a stay at home dad when I found out my wife and I were going to have a baby. Now I live in Germany for the moment with a beautiful son Johnathan. Still a stay at home dad and full time volunteer with a family support group for the families of deployed soldiers.

fter a successful military career I moved on to private sector security. When my wife was reassigned to North Carolina and had our son I decided to become a stay at home father. Recently during our tour of duty in Germany I have taken over as the head of my wife's unit's Family Readiness Group.
Military
I spent a little over 4 years in the active Army. I was a Cannon Fire Direction Specialist (13E) assigned to Howitzer Battery, 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment at Ft. Carson, Colorado. I was medically discharged due to uncorrectable knee damage. I am currently and military dependant married to a Medical Specialist (91W).
