David's Story
In the spring of 1968 I married my sweetheart from Jonesboro Hi and five weeks later enter active duty U.S. Navy...completed three tours of Vietnam by 1971. By this time I had a daughter whom just got married on 07/11/09.
I was divorced about 1973 but, remained on active duty until 1981.
I traveled the world, got married and had two more children. I had a wonerful tour of duty in the late seventies teaching navigation in Orlando, FL.

or seveal years and returned to the Navy late 80's just in time for Desert Shield/Desert Storm (DS/DS) aboard USS MISSISSIPPI CGN-40.
After DS/DS I was assigned as a Company Commander in Orlando FL pushing boots for three years. This was a very intense and rewarding assignment.
.....Dept. Justice for three years and then eight years with Dept. Homeland Security.
Three children...six grandchildren..one great grandchild..
Now retired and happy as a pig in slop.
