Life 12/2006 - My daughter is getting married in April '07. Oldest son is having a great time at BYU. I hope he keeps his grades up enough to maintain his scholarship. Youngest son is now a sophomore in high school. I crewed on a Catalina 25 sailboat in the summer series races on the Great Salt Lake, and our boat, Salty Air, won first place in our class. It was good practice, along with my sailing classes, for my eventual sail around the world. ;) I've been enjoying scuba diving. In October I went to the Bahamas for a week and dove off a live-aboard dive boat. Along with having lots of fun, we relocated some sea urchins to help preserve some troubled reefs. I also went lobster hunting from a dive boat off Catalina Island in October. In a few weeks, my wife and I are going to abandon our children for a week and go on a cruise to Honduras, Belize, and Mexico. I'll be diving and sailing in the ports we visit. She's going to do boring stuff. Other than that, it's mostly just work, still at Intuit, working on QuickBooks as a software engineer. I got a mid-week pass to Sundance ski resort and with a 20 minute drive from the office and a few minutes to gear up, I can take a 2-hour lunch and get in an hour of skiing a few times a week. 2005 - My daughter is a sophomore/junior at BYU.
