David E's Story
Life
I was assigned to H/S Co 373 Armored Infantry in June of 1955 and served until it was changed to the 371. My duties were in the battalion maintenence. I was assigned to the recovery section on an M-74 and later became a parts runner. I was sent to the 537 Ord for awhile and then back to my unit and on to Fulda with the 15th Ord I alway remember the Beautiful ...Expand for more
countyside and the Hartz Mtns. I drove a duce and a half down thru Bad Kissengen to Schweinfurt everyday for about a year until we changed support units and than I ran to the 15 Ord at Fulda. I returned to Wildflecken in Feb of 1958 and traveled as a courier for a month than took off for Holland for 30 days when I returned they sent me home on the 28th of April 1958
