David's Story
Life
I've lived in Boston since moving here in 1979 for grad school. Initially stayed for work, then work and family. The family has grown, and now includes my wife, Fran, and four children -- Adam, Benji, Sara & Joshua.
I've spent my career in Investments, either managing money or consulting in investment management.
I've taken to cycling since 2001, and rode for the first time in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) in 2002, a major fundraiser for The Jimmy Fund, a philanthropy suppor...Expand for more
ting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The PMC is now an annual event for our family, Since 2005, I have also been a regular on The Israel Ride, a 300 mile ride, beginning in Jerusalem (most years) and ending in Eilat (all years). While it wasn't my original reason for becoming involved in the PMC, and am now a two time cancer survivor. The treatment that I received at Dana Farber Cancer Institute helped save my life. I am currently cancer free (and hope to stay that way!).
