David's Story
Life
Well, its been almost 30 years since I walked out of WCI for the last time as a student. A lot of water under that bridge since then.
Took a couple of years off after high school and then on to the University of Windsor where I graduated in '83 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing).
Moved to Toronto for a while until the company I was working for transferred me back to Windsor. Been here ever since.
During that time I have been employed in both the private and public sectors, mostly in a sales and marketing capacity. The only exception would be a wretched three years working as a Customs Officer at the Ambassador Bridge. ...Expand for more
(I never did like taking people's stuff away from them, no matter how much they deserved it.)
For the past ten years I have been working in the area of Economic Development. Seven-plus years with the Windsor Essex County Development Commission and the last two-plus years with the Town of Lakeshore as Manager of Economic Development Services.
I have wonderful wife, Dianna who grew up in South Windsor and attended Centennial, and two great kids (daughters) born in '91 and '93.
In my spare time I like to play my guitar (which I took up only a couple of years ago), working to keep the home in order and golfing when the weather permits.
