David's Story
I'm playing pipe organ and leading a choir in Lexington. Teaching piano, some - gas prices gouged my practice pretty thoroughly over the past three years. I've had my share of students go off to college to study music. University of Louisville, U.K., Vanderbilt, Cincinnati Conservatory. Two of my students are film composers now.

arpentry, veterinary medicine - good people, all, and many become friends when they grow up. I love teaching.My favorite surprise is being asked to play at a former student's wedding. That happens about every year, now.
Composing, since the age of 8. Still hard at it. (The photo is from a performance of a musical elegy I wrote.) I treasure all friends, above all.
