David's Story
Life
After Graduation from Cornell I lived and worked for 4 years in Naperville, Ill. In 1986 I was given to opportunity to move to Amsterdam, The Netherlands for a 2 year assignment. The European lifestyle agreed with me, and I spent a total of 8 years using Amsterdam as a base to support projects in Europe and the former Soviet Union. In 1992, I met my "wife to be" in Almaty, Kazakstan and we were married in Chimkent, Kazakstan in September, 1993. After spending another year in Amsterdam we moved in late 1994 back to Naperville with our new son. It didn't last long, though as I was given an opportunity to do a project in Tokyo, Japan. econd son was born later that year. This time we stayed a little longer, but in early 1999, we closed up house and moved to Singapore where I supported projects all over Asia/Pacific. Having our third son in Asia, gives us one European, one North American, and one Asian living under one roof. After living the life of the rich and famous, Singapore is now but a fond memory. We moved back to "rural" St. Charles, IL in 2002 and lasted 3 years tending the acreage, until winters took their toll and caused us to look south. Coral Springs, Florida is now our base for the foreseeable future. We have been here 4 years...but who knows where life will take us next!
