David's Story
Life
I'm where I want to be, but I've got many other places to visit. Ecuador may be in the future??? We did Ecuador & it was really nice, but.....
I have one son -- 50 years old retired from the USAF earned his Masters & now working in school system Two step-sons the younger was in army the older in the USAF. I'm a grandfather.
My wife Martha is a veteran of the USAF as am I.
I am retired as Team Leader at the Vet Center, Norwich,CT on August 31st 2012.
I love golf, BUT I am only learning the game. I hope to get back to golf when I retire.
I'm most proud of my Children -- biological and otherwise.
I am generally happy about life. I'm not an optimist or a pessimist, but a realist -- I believe that we must make adaptations in order to earn our success.

really know where I was going until I got there. Now I'm settled and happy in less than a year I can retire from my Federal job & do something else. I really like what I do, but all the paperwork drives me a bit nuts.
I was in the Air Force for 8 years 4 enlisted & 4 officer and I'm glad I had a chance to make that experience count for something tangible.
I like where I am. I can't go any higher unless I leave the Vet Center for Regional Office or some other place.
Yes, I do have some regrets & There is some more excitement to be had & Chances to be taken! Don't let it get away this time.
I am retired & going to Ecuador! It has been one full moon since my retirement on August 31st 2012 on a Blue Moon!
Back from Ecuador & only spent a brief time in Texas. Now living in Florida.
