David's Story
After graduating from Highland, I went to work for the Idaho Transportation Department on the Sign Crew. I worked there for 7 and1/2 years, during this time I was active in community affairs in Chubbuck.
I married in 1970 and later divorced after 29 years.
During this time, I decided to go back to school and attended Ricks College. Graduating with a degree (A.A.) in Landscape Nursery Management. I have worked in that field or related fields, until I wanted to make more money. That's when I got into trucking. I have been trucking since 1989. In 2000 I met my sweetheart, and we got married in July. Shari is also a truck driver, we team together, and enjoy seeing the country and sharing life's experiences together. but avoid getting into the New England states.
We both enjoy taking some of our pets with us. Shari taught me how much fun cats are, so now we have 8 in the house, and several wild ones outside that we feed. Family is also important to us both, and children are scattered from Montana to Florida. So we get to see them on a SEMI-regular basis. We lived in Filer, ID for almost ten years with a rural address, in a quiet area about 39 miles north of Jackpot,NV. We moved to Florida in Oct. 2009.
We enjoy camping, fishing, swimming, gardening, our families,and friends, and our pets.
Update: Class reunion
What a great reunion! Memories came flooding back of all my classmates and friends. Thanks to all for the efforts and such a memorable event.
