David's Story

Life Retired Air Force flight instructor working quality assurance on CV22 flight training lessons and teaching psychology part time at a medical college in Albuquerque. After high school I joined the Air Force and worked on fighter aircraft as a engine mechanic and flight control system mechanic. I got tired of that and decided I wanted to fly. I went to flight school in Albuquerque in 1990. I then spent 12 years involved with Air Force special operations (search Pavelow at Hurlburt Field Florida). I was an instructor and evaluator flight engineer in a unit in Florida during 911 and was subsequently deployed to Afghanistan where I was wounded in action while flying a mission. rea, Japan, Germany, Spain, England, Italy, Belguim, France, Gabon Africa, Bosnia, Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman,Pakistan, Scotland and the former Yugolslovia. I have crossed the equator and hit four out of the seven continents so far. I have been to almost every state and loved flying helicopters. I was married for 9 years. I have 1 daughter whom lives in Jacksonville Florida. I remarried this year and am enjoying life. Recently went back to school, again, finished a dual BA in Psychology/Organizational Psychology with plans of a masters in the near future. Still havent made it to Australia, South America or Antarctica. Life Ethos: Accept the challenge & keep moving forward.
