David's Story
Life since 1975: Three years in the Marine Corps, a couple years working around Oxford, got married, had 2 daughters (both grown and married w/ children). Degrees in Forest Mgt, Outdoor Education, and Adventure Recreation. I've lived in VA, SC, FL, TX, IN, CA, MT, WA, ID, CO and now I'm retired and living on the southern Oregon coast. I had a super fun career with the USDA Forest Service for over 30 years doing a lot of different things, including cutting edge research with global climate change and wildland fire fighting. flying, playing with my Danes and taking road trips all over this great country. I had a fantastic time growing up in Oxford, although the early 70's are a little foggy. It was so Mayberry-ish. Hahahaha... I owe the OPD a big thank you for not throwing away the key on several occasions. It's hard to believe 50 years have passed: What a trip! My "then" pic was taken by the cabin at Western College in July, 1973 with my dog Flashback. There's more hair on my face these days, then on the top of my head.
