David's Story
Well, let's see...After high school I joined the United States Navy, which pretty much sent me around the world. I spent just over two years in Gaeta Italy on board USS Albany CG-10. Upon returning to the U.S., I was stationed on board the USS Enterprise CVN-65 in Alameda CA, and then to Bremerton, WA for dry dock/overhaul. Moved to Seattle area in 1989 and took work at UPS as a Dispatcher/Supervisor. I worked mostly in Redmond/ Seattle hubs. In 2007 I left UPS and began work as a Manufacturing Technician (heavy structures mechanic) on the new Boeing 787 Dream-Liner and loving every minute of it.
