Since Deveraux School I attended Centeral Jr High for grades 8 and part of grade 9. I left home at age 14 and went to work as a Tire Repair Man for Tompkins Truck Stop in Ft Nelson BC. I worked there only a short period then at age 15 I began a career in the Oil & Gas Industry. First working on a service rig for 1 winter then moving over to the drilling rigs at age 16. I worked for the driling contractors for the next 20 years in every role from Roughneck to Tool Push. I left the drilling contractors to join a directional drilling company and stayed there for 1 year at which time I felt I needed to further my career by accepting an offer to become a Consulting Drilling Foreman working for the Oil & Gas producers. I have been doing that for the past 13 years and have also managed tar sand projects for the past 2 years working in downtown Calgary in the office to coordinate from inception of projects doing the procurement stages then working in the field to execute the program for clients. I have been living in Grande Prairie for the past 9+ years having moved here from Edmonton AB where I spent 23 years prior.
