Mr. Bender called it for me way back in Chem lab at St. Mary's...I ended up a lab scientist/cancer researcher: 5 yrs. at Univ of Florida, 9 yrs. at Univ of Colorado, a year at Duke, and now at a private research institute in North Carolina called RTI. ost important thing I have ever done. Kept playing bass (and acoustic guitars) after Evenstar with Cassella, Sue B, and Eric Hartmann and released two CDs in Denver in the late 90s/2000 but nowhere near as successful as The Delevantes. Denver band continues as Dogs in the Yard and I'm still trying to find the right folks to jam with in NC. More sad than words could express to have missed 20th reunion before losing Griff in the WTC....love and peace to June, Jenna, Julie and the Griffin family.
