David's Story
Well, here it goes. First off it's good to see all of you here on the site. I left for Naval bootcamp 2 weeks after graduation. After a few schools I ended up in Italy in support of combat operations in Bosnia. While there I met an Italian girl and we were married. We had a son Marco (AUG96) there and later had a daughter Sara (NOV99) while stationed in Denver. I deployed in support of combat operation in Afghanistan in '02 and Iraq in '04, which is why I missed our 10 year r...Expand for more
eunion. The Navy decided that I needed some edjumacation and sent me to the NROTC unit at U of M where I completed my BS in Mathematics with a duel minor in Computer Science and Military Science. The Navy then saw fit to give me a commission as a Naval Officer in the Information Warfare community. I'm out here in Washington D.C. bumpin elbows with GB. I'm loving this Navy stuff, so I will stick around for another 10 years or so. See you guys in 6 years for our 20 year reunion.
