David's Story
Life
About 10 years of restaurant management gave me a severe case of "burnout". I worked in a motorcycle accessory shop for a couple of years. Then, when nothing else panned out I went back to college to finish my aviation degree. I graduated in May 2000 with my Bachelor's in Aviation Science.... yes, a pilot. :)
In 2007 I started my business, "Dave the Tube Guy", repairing guitars...Expand for more
and tube guitar amplifiers, and also building guitar amps. With the aviation business around here being a see-saw ride, I wanted to try my own business.
In 2011 the biz slowed down to a halt, so I went to work for PreSonus Audio Electronics in Baton Rouge. I work in their R&D department supporting the engineers. We make some of the best audio products around, and continue to grow.
