David's Story
Life
Life... Don't talk to me about life.
After finishing University of Victoria I did the standard Europe Backpacking experience. Following that I toured Canada for five years with my own company Real Canadian Mounted Productions producing mostly original or Canadian works. This time included some time working back in Fort McMurray but also time in Montreal, Brandon and Vancouver.
In this interim, two big things first and foremost Chloe my daughter was born. Second that I decided to stay in Victoria. After a making my mark in New York with an Off-Broadway production of Judith Thompson's 'Lion in the Streets' I returned to the West Coast to live in paradise and follow my bliss.

on ended up in a high end catering business in Sales and Human Resources but this consumed too much time.
I quit the Catering when I landed a full time professional acting job, with Kaleidoscope Theatre, whom I had also performed the Hobbit for in their award winning production.
It has been over a year of working exclusively in the theatre and living a very very blissful life. I work, I relax, I create, I have time for my partner and my daughter and even some for myself. The stress is high but the rewards are even higher.
I even managed to move into a very funky apartment in the bohemian neighbourhood of Fernwood, here in Victoria. Yoga in the morning, teaching in the afternoon and performing/creating at night, all in the back drop of the mountains, ocean and mild weather.
