Life Well, let's see ... I dropped out of college, DeVry L.A., just short of my degree in computer sytems for business. I apprenticed for Ford Electric from 1987-1989. Went to work for Coast Oyster Company and ended up running the Hydraulic Dredge. I stayed there until 2003, when I was released as disabled, after I lost my right arm, Aug 24, 2002. Now, I'm disabled/retired, living with my parents in Castle Rock, WA. I feed their Arabian horses and mend the fences. My priorities have certainly changed, from work hard, party hard, go back to work, to just kicking it, hanging out at church (I attend two, each week), helping with Jr High youth group. I'm just relaxing, maxing, staying all cool, retired since I was 38. You see, I wrecked my Harley, slept (in a coma) for 6 weeks, woke up with a paralyzed right arm and life as I had known it, had changed forever, in a screech of rubber and spray of blood that I didn't remember. My wife met some Coast Guard pilot at the bar and was engaged to be married again, before we were even divorced. Can't say that I blame her, she traded up! Disabled father of her children or Coast Guard pilot, with his own airplane and family money? Not too tough to make that call. It's not like we were ever happy, or anything. I think we had, sort of broken up, two days before my wreck? I know I wasn't wearing my ring that weekend, for the first time in 12 years. I went out of town, on my bike, to the Harley shop in Fife and stayed the night with my brother, Bobby. On the way home, I tried to pass these 4 cars and the lead car didn't see me coming, so he locked up his brakes and turned in front of me (he suddenly saw Grandma's driveway).
