David's Story
Life
OK. I've been a gypsy. Between going to 8 colleges in 6 different states, and being in the army for 6 years, I have done a lot of stuff, but I have lost touch with friends that I didn't want to.
I have a new lady in my life. Diane is great. We were recently married on September 10, 2006. It is freeing to be able to be with someone who is a soul mate. I look forward to bringing her to our next class reunion. She is more than I could have dreamed of.
Some people may describe me as a professional student. I have done 20 plus years of school. However, I think my MSW was my last degree. It's William's, Mathew's and Larissa's turn now.
William, just began his sophomore year in college this past Fall, in Upstate New York. He loves computers, and is shy, but has many friends.
Mathew loves cinematography, and has been involved in producing many short films with his friends. He and his buddies captured our recent wedding on DVD.

Larissa is a great student, and enjoys girl scouts, sleep overs and various events in drama.
I love my work. I am a clinical social worker and a psychiatric nurse. I work in a California State Psychiatric Hospital in Napa.
I have an interest in philosophy and spirituality, but enjoy helping people in the concrete world. I love working with people, helping them find resources in those transitions that come with life, be they emotional, biological, material or spiritual.
On the spiritual and philosphical side of things, I am still Catholic, but am less obnoxious about towing the party line than in previous years. I am in 12-step recovery. Hanging out with a bunch of recovering alcoholics and addicts has a way of making one a little bit more down to earth, and humble.
If you would like to say hi, I would enjoy hearing from you. If I need to make ammends to you for something that I did to you in my earlier years, I would welcome that too.
