David's Story
After graduating from Gulfport High School in 1975 I attended Jeff Davis Jr. College and then attended University of Southern Miss. I graduated from USM with a BS in accounting in 1980 and a masters degree (MPA) in accounting in 1981. After teaching accounting for three years at Nicholls State University I moved to Georgia. e I serve as an associate professor. I earned a Ph.D. in accounting in 1991.
I am married and have two wonderful children. I have a son, David Jr., who is 20 and a daughter, Michelle, who is 15. My son is attending the college where I teach and Michelle is in high school. I feel very thankful to have a great family and a great job.
