David's Story
Life
Graduated high school and like so many others felt that college was a mandated path. Trudged on nonetheless. Graduated from U of D in 87 with BSME.....enlisted in Marine Corp OCS along the way. Became part of officer corp in 1987. Attended basic school in Quantico VA fall thereof. Commisioned 2nd LT OCT 1987. Attended advanced infantry training JEST school Okinawa JP FEB-May 1988. Sent to Thailand and did covert recon mission along Myanmar (Burmese) border. Further advanced recon mission in central Asian republics (Turkmenistan, Tajikistan....looking for intell on Chinese nukes) shortly thereafter injured knee and received medical discharge from USMC. ls of Himalya studying Taoism, and grooving with the bagwan sre Rhashnish. Seached for enlightenment. Found nonething. Realized truth resides outside of humanistic 'denying' ritualistic religion....aka Eastern faith.
Decided to find truth in mathematical based postulates of Greece. Decided to actually practice engineering. Became gearhead. Now Chief Engineer at Continental Teves AG (Beam me up Scotty). Finished MBA at MSU Advanced Management Program in spring 1997.
Married 2 children; Eamon and Liam. Gaelic for Edmond and William. Twin boys born 7 My 2002. The pride and joy of myself and my wonderful wife Heather Mott (ne Hockstra...dutch chick from the Western part of the state and 9 years my junior.)
