Life I'm not big on typing-so I'm going to try to keep this as short as I can. After HS I went off to basic training for the OH Army National Guard. Stayed in for 6 yrs. I had a 5 yr. break and rejoined for 3 more yrs. My mother passed away in 84, that was hard for me and still is from time to time. At the end of my first "tour" in the OHARNG I contracted cancer (Lance Armstrong kind). Went through 6 mo. of chemo. Lost my hair and lost 30 lbs. The hair eventually came back but very curly. Has straightened out since like the old me you might remember. Went to Kent State for 2 yrs. studying Graphic Design. But I graduated from good old Akron U in 85 with a Associates. A professor told me I was good enough to leave now and get a job. Having my fill of education at the time, thats what I did. (Bad move). Played the "starving artist role for 10 yrs. Lived many other places such as Cleveland, Columbus, Providence R.I., Altoona PA-yuck. Retreated back to Akron. Found my wonderful wife Heather and soon got married in 94. Now getting a job in Graphic Design was near impossible because the computer came into the scene. My college had absolutely NO computer courses for artist when I went to Kent OR Akron.
