David's Story
Life
Enlisted in the US Air Force in 1972. Met my wife while in tech school at Keesler AFB, MS. I had orders to Turkey she had orders some where else. Fortunately for me hers were cancelled and she was sent to Turkey. We married in August 1973. After Turkey we were assigned to Rickenbacker in Oh. Next assignment was San Vito de Normanni in Italy. key we were assigned to Edwards AFB in Ca. where our second daughter, Stephanie, was born in 1980. I seperated form active duty in Feb. 1981 and enlisted in the Air Force Reserve. Our third daughter, Adrienne, was born in 1984. We have 2 beautiful granddaughters whom we have done our best to spoil. Having been in both Turkey and Italy while with the Air Force I have found that there is no country like the United States.
