Except for three years in the US Army, I worked in Washington D.C. in the floor covering industry. I was fortunate enough to work in many interesting places which included The White House, Monticello, The Pentagon, and various museums. enjoy and get to know an unbelievable cross section of humanity. I have since moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and enjoy retirement with all of the questions and quandaries of aging. I live by the adage of a former Redskin running back who said, "If you wake up and nothing is hurting, your dead". Its' the first thing I check every morning. - David Payne
