David's Story
Life
I am married and have a 10 month old baby boy. I currently work for Georgia Tech's IPST Information Technology department as a network administrator. I am also working part-time at Peachtree Dekalb Airport for Turner Enterprises (CNN). I no longer teach karate but I still play guitar. Work and family keep me pretty busy, but I still have time to stomp on kittens. I just hate me some kittens. Man! Do they bunch my undies.
I also do oil painting. They probably wouldn't sell, but they are pretty and the paint chips taste good.
I was in a band for a little while. We played classic rock and blues. My tastes these days range from Rap to Rock, but my tastes have always been eclectic.
I earned my black belt by the age of twelve and taught for a number of years. These days I practice, but it is on my own for health benefits.
I married a great girl in 2001. She is really special and we have been together for 9 years.
Note: To each of my ex-girlfriends: Yes, I found someone who finally can put up with my crap. Please don't call her and tell her how bad I treated you...she will find out on her own. Just be glad it isn't you. Oh, and you were no gift to man either, just ask your other exes. One last thing, the baby isn't mine. I love you! E-mail me! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Ah, but I grew up. I own my own small business in addition to a part-time and a full-time job. I study everyday (still). I have earned several networking certifications and am working on more. CCNA, MCP, Net+, etc. The industry term would be: alphabet soup. That's what I am studying to make.
My main job is working at Georgia Tech. I am a network administrator. I have been there for almost a year. I love it. I work with researchers and professors who spend hour after hour designing new paper and paper related products. When they can't connect to the network or their computer is down, I help them out. This is a very over-simplified explanation, but you get it. If you are a geek: our network consists of Cisco multilayer switches, Pix firewalls, Cisco VPN hardware, Unix and MS Win Serv 2003 Servers, and duct tape.

a Mexican-German, my wife is Jewish, my dog is Chinese, my son is confused (ask how we will raise him here...everyone always does). My son is a Germanomexijew. No offense to Germanomexijews everywhere.
THINGS I LOVE: Battlefield 1942, Carmex lip balm, cool mornings, Mexican food, an ice cold Corona, listening to loud music in my car at night, Astroglide (but not the flavor...they need to fix that), Cisco equipment, my Fender Strat, my son's laughter, that first cup of coffee in the morning, that 47th cup of coffee around 2:47, driving fast on Interstate 75, Swedish fish, laughing so hard at a joke that I pee just a little.
THINGS I HATE: hang-overs, being too tired to sleep, dumb drivers, burnt toast, thick pizza, hangnails, being hit-on in the men's room at Cumberland Mall (you know who you are you sick pervert), the death of a friend, waiters who ignore me, finding rotten leftovers the fridge that you wanted to eat but forgot about, when your finger pokes through the toilet paper, tiny arguments with your wife that go on for 3 days and I get the couch, parsley, that twitch your eyelid sometimes gets when you are really tired. Oh, and kittens.
I have developed a sense of humor that is my own. If you read this and were offended by it, then I will email you a hug. We have all changed over the years. We all did some very good things and some stupid things. I wish we could all be cool with each other now. So many of the friends and girlfriends I had a falling out with...well, I would still love to hear from you. I'd love to apologize. I hope you are all doing well. Even you RSA. I wish you would email me.

I went to school. I now work at a school. I should pack it all up just live in a school.

I went to college. I drank beer and virtually made straight A's (how the hell did I do that?)
