memories revolve around the sports I participated in -- football and track. Most notably in track, the highlight of my high school career was placing 4th in the discus at the regional meet at Denton in '72, as well as being named the Most Valuable Trackster for MHS.
College
My personal highlight of my years at USNA was the winning of four N*'s in indoor/outdoor track; winning the 35# weight throw as a junior, upsetting two favored seniors (one teammate and one from USMA), at the Army-Navy indoor meet in '75, and qualifying and competing in the NCAA outdoor meet in '76 throwing the hammer.
