David's Story
Life
I now live in Columbus, GA. How I ended up here is a convoluted tale that I can go into at the next reunion. Part of the reason involves the loss of my wife and my then 13 year old daughter.
School
I graduated SWTSU with a BA in PoliSci. A truly useless degree that, if I had the chance to do over, I would still select as a degree program!

Workplace
After retiring from the Navy, I went back to school to get my teaching certificate. That is what I am now doing - teaching middle school, and loving it! I don't like the impact of NCLB, and political insanity, but the kids are great! You have to constantly be 2 steps ahead of them, or they will eat you alive.

Retired from the Navy (submarine force).
