Life I met my spouse, Mary, while working in the promotions/special events office at the State Fair of Oklahoma (OKC). I work as a magazine editor now, and am a trained chef (never worked as one, I do not care for gourmet foods) I participate extensively with Boy Scouts of America as a volunteer leader, and my wife is a profession executive with BSA. I am an Eagle, so at least I outrank her! LOL!! Steve is a Boy Scout now, and has many Scouting awards. He also builds model cars, and has 16 trophies (first was at 3 1/2), including a Best of Show at the biggest model car show in America, and a second place nationally in America's largest plastic model contest. At 8 1/2, he retired from competition...or so he says. We are also into vintage slot car racing, WWII history, home improvement, traveling, and camping.
