David's Story
Life
After graduating from Pineville High in 1985, I attended Louisiana College for two years, where I met my wife-to-be, Janet. Janet and I transferred to Louisiana Tech and earned our degrees in 1989, after which, in the fall of 1989, I went to Mississippi College School of Law.
Upon graduating from law school in 1992, I moved to the Lake Charles area where I began my career as an attorney. Janet and I were married in law school in January of 1990. We live in Sulphur (5 minutes west of Lake Charles), which is a great communit...Expand for more
y to raise our three precious children.
After practicing law for over 10 years, I was elected state District Judge in Calcasieu Parish on November 15, 2003, in a special election. Prior to being elected judge, I was a city councilman in the City of Sulphur for nearly 6 years.
In a nutshell, that is what's been going on with me over the last 20 plus years. God has truly blessed me in my life in so many ways. I am humbled and grateful to Him for all He has done for my family and me.
