David's Story

To all the students of the past, I was in the first graduatiog class from the group that moved to Armagh High from Brush Valley High School and graduated in the class of 1952. I wasn't at all outstanding, and just got by. That was then, since then I have covered a lot of ground. The first summer I worked on an ice truck in Baltimore, and then on to a canning factory for a year. That is when I woke up an went back to school in Williamsport Pa. where i studied technical illustrating. From there I weet back to Baltimore to work at thre GlennL. Martin plant building airplanes, it was a very good job..I married while there and worked there for 8 years, and with a wife and four small children I hired on with aa firm called Bendix Field ...Expand for more
Engineering who was one of NASA's prime contractors, and they immediately transfered me and my family to Cape Canaveral Florida just at the begining of the manned space flight. Going to school at night I worked Electrical Technology. All went well for several years until I became divorced, some time later on I remarried to whom this day. I have traveled 3/4 around the world and lived in some other countries. It went on for 32 years until my sirvices were no longer required and I retired as a Sr. Field Engineer. We moved bacb to Cocoa Florida where 3 of my four children and 3 of my wifes children live. we settled into a retirement community, and just watch the grass grow. I quite satified with my life, and will probably remain here.
