David's Story
Life
After getting sidetracked into radio in 1980, I have worked in electronic media ever since, now Creative Services Director for WPSD TV Channel 6 in Paducah. I have been here full time since 1987. I married Lisa Vandiver (Reidland '80) on December 31, 2000 and we reside in Paducah, when we moved to a different house in June of 2006. we returned to China, to adopt another daughter, Maggie Fu Chien, whose birthday is November 18, 2006. So while some of you might even be grandparents by now, we have our first children in our early to mid 40's. As far as recreation, I enjoy playing tennis, a little softball, working in the yard, and flying around the area when I have a little time to take to the air. Got my private pilot's license in March 2002. I try to exercise whenever I can, as if 2 young children don't provide enough.
