Amy's Story
Life is quite good right now. David and I have been married for 15 years. I am a fifth grade teacher at Lima-Brighton Elementary in Howe (Lakeland School Corp,) and have been a childbirth instructor for 19 years. I just love teaching! David is inventory coordinator at Abbott. Living in Sturgis has just worked well for us, as our mothers are both still living and it allows us to be here for them, plus, raising the girls here is what I always wanted. I just love this community.

David and I are very committed to our health through a program Abbott is associated with called Body for LIFE. It has caused dramatic changes in our lives as we take time to eat healthy and develop fitness routines. I have lost 100 lbs since deciding to take charge of my health. I have epilepsy, so this has been no easy feat.
During football season, both David and I work at Notre Dame Stadium. David works at the tunnel, and I oversee the east sideline. Being right down on the field for the game is amazing-nothing like it. GO IRISH!
