David's Story
Life
After graduating from High School I went into the Navy for (4) years. I went to boot camp in Orlando, Florida, then to Class "A" weapons school in Jacksomville, Fla. for the remainder of that year. I was then stationed aboard the aircraft carrier "USS Constellation" for over 3 years. I did two tours to Viet Nam aboard the ship before getting out in January of 1974. I then entered college, at O.S.U. which is where I met my wife. We dated for 10 months and then were married in August of 1975 and we have been together since then. We have two wonderful children, a daughter and a son who have given us so many memories through the years. My daughter graduated from Northeastern State Univ. at Tahlequah in Dec. of 2003 and currently works in...Expand for more
the Gas Management group at ONEOK in Tulsa. She is married and just has given us 2 wonderful grandchildren (a girl and a boy). My son is a graduate of OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY and currently works in Corporate here at the Williams Companies (oil and gas) in Tulsa. He was married in 2009 and also met his wife at OSU (no kids yet). We currently live in Sand Springs, Ok. and my wife and I both work for Williams Midstream. For relaxation I play guitar and Bass Fiddle in a Bluegrass Band by the name of "Saltcreek". We have been together now for 19 years and we play gigs all over Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Missouri. Maybe you have heard of us??? Recently I have enjoyed getting in touch with some of our old classmates thru this website.
