David's Story

Life Not sure how far I want to go back since not really sure if I've made a major impact with anyone except some of my childhood friends. But After Gifted and Talened at PS#11, I went to AEP at PS#25. I went to Academic for a year. Got accepted into the ABC program and went to Strath Haven HS (my first taste of suburban living). Played a few sports, did okay and went to Drexel for 2 years. Joined Theta Chi, moved in with my sophomore GF then left school because I wasn't doing well academically (ironically enough). Spent about 17 months just wasting away living back in Jersey City while I waited for the Navy to start. Went through the Nuclear pipeline, became a nuke electrician and served on 2 ships. I got married and had 2 wonderful sons but now I am divorced and paying $1200/month child support. I...Expand for more
have 3 houses in Virginia and became a licensed real estate agent but found the need for a steady income job. Well I got out of the Navy recently, found a good company in the NE corner of Arkansas and hopefully I can start my real estate purchasing/repairing/rentals there. I got my first house there but real estate is booming better in VA so I'll just have to save more pennies. I'm up to 6 houses now, including 2 duplexes. Okay, my life just took another turn, now I'm probably going to move to Indianapolis and work at another steel mill there. There's more room for upward mobility as well as some great personal contacts in commercial contracting. Also I'm going to go back to school hopefully IUPUI in Indianapolis. First finish a bachelor's in Business Admin and then go for a law degree. Wish me luck.
